David O’Rourke

As the VP of Client Services with International Thought Leader Network, Dave works closely with clients to support their strategic change goals and manage project and resource management.  Over the last 15 years, Dave has worked on client engagements involving Human Capital Management technology, business process outsourcing, and strategic consulting services for Global 2000 organizations.  Dave works with senior leaders to optimize strategies for creating and sustaining a high performance organization by increasing employee engagement and customer loyalty.

Over his career, Dave has led customer engagements focused on optimizing business processes in primary corporate functions including sales, operations and information technology.  He has applied his expertise using best practices for leadership development, performance management, business process optimization, and human capital analytics.

Dave has experience with clients from a variety of industry including financial services, life sciences and technology in addition to large public sector engagements.  He has performed as an engagement manager for strategic initiatives with MasterCard, KPMG, EDS, Goldman Sachs, Marsh McClellan, and the Internal Revenue Service.

Dave’s corporate development experience is primarily with early stage growth companies in the human capital management software and service industry.  His corporate responsibilities have centered in the sales, marketing, and business development functions.  Dave was a corporate officer in Assessment Solution Inc., a human resources consulting and outsourcing firm, acquired by AON in 2000.  This preceded executive responsibilities at KnowledgePlanet and his current firm, Applied Skills & Knowledge, Inc.  Current project work covers all aspects of Human Capital Management services with particularly emphasis on strategic change and assessment program management.

Dave studied Organizational Behavior and Labor Economics at the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University.  He has continued with graduate course work at Columbia University’s Teacher College and New York University.
